A short story about Nokia 3310, Nokia 3310 is a GSM phone, announced on September 1st, 2000. It was one of the first widely used Mobile devices, and sold over 125 million handsets worldwide, that many, sorry cant say many , few of us used while paying a hefty price for the rare incoming and outgoing calls, that technically happened through few mobile towers around and the primary use was the calls mind you only call !!! apart from that, the second use of this device is the fun we had while playing the legendary Snake game !!
Everything we had that time, precisely 15-16 years ago was a little, but the price we paid for the primary use of mobile was pretty high...
Now coming to 2017, with the Smart Phones, even the Five year old kids use to book air tickets ,paying the various bills, playing real time 3D games, finding and buying online what he or she desires, the list goes on and on..all this is made possible with the connection of Internet with the phone..that was, one of the best marriage that had happened in the field of electronic devices in this century
The advancement of technology and research paved the way to an evolution in the field of hand held devices have replaced many things and devices we have used before, like no body is carrying real cash now, in some developed countries people are using smart phone even to make payment in grocery shop, nobody is using the telephone index, the replacement happened with time piece, radio, sorry to say real books.
The size of mobile data and the capacity of our smartphones are getting improved everyday..we were used to be happy with 256 MB of Mobile data a few years back, but now 3 Gigabits of Mobile data is not enough for us for a single day !!
And in the field of devices, the latest smartphone is having 6 Gigabits of RAM !! The Sound technology we only experienced in a movie theater like the Dolby Atoms is now made possible in latest mobile devices even some of the desktop computers selling now are not even having this configuration..that's the sheer amount of advancement happening in our smart devices as well as the services offered through the internet.
And in the field of devices, the latest smartphone is having 6 Gigabits of RAM !! Now let's wait for the latest technologies and smart devices in the coming year by contentiously saying wow..!!
